Service Description
In this beginner's short course, you will learn the art of patternmaking from the experts at sawrap. You will practice how to use specialist equipment, pattern terminology and how to draw with accuracy and confidence the correct information that should be on finished patterns. The short course focuses on different pattern-cutting techniques, that will enable you to create your own basic blocks. You will be using different techniques to achieve these blocks. Also, covers dart manipulation on the bodice block and techniques to create one different bodice style and a sleeve style. All the techniques learned are transferable to other garments.
Cancellation Policy
Unfortunately, our classes are non-refundable. We are passionate about creating the perfect learning atmosphere for our students. Due to our small class sizes, transferring your booking to a different date is very difficult. If you can not attend a class, notify Stephanie at least two weeks before the class starts so she can fit you in on another date, which commences after six weeks, but this is not guaranteed. Please give Stephanie as much notice as possible to increase your chances. If a class is forced to cancel, Stephanie will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and offer either a full refund or swap your booking to another suitable date.
